As our regular readers know by now, there’s an entire belief system dedicated to the way colours make us look and feel, called ‘Colour Psychology’. Red happens to be one of the basic colours (along with blue and yellow), and it is one that immediately catches the eye.
Bedroom decorating tips using greenery: 1) Even in a small room, greenery can still be an overarching feature. 2) “Trailing cascading Devil’s ivy along the bedroom makes a real feature of its beautiful long tendrils, whilst the trio of plants in the foreground helps greenify the space and connect the scene,” explains Jacqui Vidal, co-founder of Ivy Muse, of the bedroom pictured above. 3) Light, contrasting walls (think neutrals, white, light grey, beige, pale pinks or even terracotta) will allow your plants to shine, says Jacqui.
