It's not just bathroom brands we've assessed - we've also rated power and electric shower brands and tested electric showers in our labs. To find out what genuine customers think about their showers we asked over 3,000 Which? members about the models that they own. This feedback, on major shower manufacturers such as Mira and Triton, has enabled us to give each brand a unique customer score plus star ratings for important factors, such as their showers' build quality and ease of use.
Now you can think about the different types of furniture and storage options available to you. You can get built-in cabinets – for example, bathroom vanities that sit around the basin, which will make use of wasted space – or freestanding ones that give you flexibility to move it around.
Freestanding bathroom furniture and cabinets are usually cheaper than built-in, and often offer more flexibility. From full-length shelving units to mirrored wall units, the options are seemingly endless. They also mean you can make use of your walls and the height of your room.
Tiles can also be used to make a statement – bold colours or different finishes can have a big impact. If they're used sparingly, such as just around a shower or even statement tiles as a strip running through plain white tiles, it doesn't have to be expensive.
