When it comes to decorating, specialist tile paints can give you a new look without the hassle and expense of retiling. Alternatively, consider using board panels – waterproof boards that can be easily secured to the bathroom wall. They come in plain or patterned designs, and some even give a tile effect.
Again, think about what you will need to store and what space you have. Measure out not only the whole room size but also the 'leftover' space once you have a toilet, sink, bath or shower fitted. Then you'll be able to see what storage you will have room for, which will determine the type you get.
